Really knowing a city can take a lifetime. Growing up in the heart of downtown Boston, I had a head start. My fondest memories of childhood include long walks with my father down brownstone-lined streets, afternoons at the Public Garden watching the Swan Boats, and evening concerts on the Esplanade.
